“As always, I am reminded of valuable tools and techniques and added some new ideas to my repertoire. This seminar is tremendously motivating for the trainer as well as the dog. Would like to see a 3 day camp format where the first day is basics and still have 2 days to work on upper levels. Would also like to see problem solving seminar where most of the work is with dogs attending."

“The seminar exceeded my expectations. A lot of helpful problem solving ideas were offered. I probably would have enjoyed it even more actually working with my dog. (audit spot only) I have a soft breed (Vizslas) and found your methods very useful for my training needs. Thanks for the experiance and knowledge. It would only have be better if you added a day."

“One of my puppy homes told me about this wonderful training center and two dynamic trainers, so when they came to town two years ago I attended their seminar. Just Super! This year, we invited Debby and Judy to DKC. I can't say enough about what an entertaining, enthusiastic, and informative seminar these two ladies present!! They truly can think out of the box and provide "fixes" to a multitude of training issues."

“An excellent seminar! I expect to learn a couple of things at an average class - this seminar exceeded that expectaction by far. Not only did it challenge myself and my dog, it also helped me fill my toolbox for future training. I came away with a much better idea of how to go about training my Pyrenes."

“Hi, Debby, Hi, Judy !
I had a such a wonderful experience to be able to attend your seminar ! Majority of technics you introduced are soooo heading of my knowledge, but all the things you taught made me so much sense ! Too bad that I am not to close to your class room... So much information ! When my friend asked me how I describe the seminar...
I said " Lets say there are 0 to 10. Most of the trainer has 10 technics, Debby & Judy have 200 ! So much details ! So much science ! So much psychology ! "
I was sooo impressed with your philosophy ! Everything I saw was incredible ! ! ! Thank you so much for coming to New York ! ( such a long trip ! ) Hope I can see the file & hope see you again !"

Hi Debby and Judy,
" I love this book. It has expanded my thinking on how to proof. I found that I wasn't very creative when it came to proofing so my dogs didn't end up very "proofed" so to speak. I love trying all the things in the training alone section when I am practicing. I attended one of your seminars here in OKC about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I was having alot of focus problems with one of my dogs. The things I learned helped him become a totally different dog. Now my latest addition is coming along nicely because I used this information from day one. So thanks so much!" Annabelle Conner

“I've been in obedience for a long time but always look forward to attending these seminars to "update" myself. I figure I'll come out with a few new things, however, I came home with tons of new stuff from you guys. It's very exciting for someone who is always looking for new training ideas to pass along to my students. I get rejuvenated from "input". Thank you very much.

The only thing I regret is that I didn't purchase more of your proofing books for my students, but I did give them your website and they will be ordering them."

Thanks.

“I've already seen a big jump in Stroller's drive. We've been training a similar way but now I use the get-it games everywhere. The cookie pocket concept is great. When I introduced it to Stroller his eyes got really big! I've been using it as an anchor when training the signals. The stand method is working wonderfully. He kicks back so hard he almost stacks himself."

I thought that one of the most valuable aspects of your seminar presentation was explaining that drive play) is something that has to be taught and developed, sort of massaged out of the dog. Many trainers don't hav a clue about this."

“EXCELLENT it was really great- I now need to back up and do some retraining and I was prepared for that - there's just so many things I should have done long ago and didn't know. I was so impressed with the knowledge and experience of Debby and Judy. Teaching techniques were excellent and the hundreds of little hints given throughout the weekend were sooooo helpful""

This seminar met my expectations and then some! I learned new things (and wrote them all down) my favorites were the “with me” – ( I have been looking for a command for this) and the whole “balance” thing. I can’t wait to get home and work on the food/toy balance. Your techniques are great – well presented and easily executed, and they make sense. Thanks for sharing your experience.

The seminar reinforced my beliefs that training obedience can and should be fun for both the dog and the trainer. I did learn some new techniques. The entire seminar was very interesting and well worth the money.

Met expectations and more. I have not worked with the dog so much in other seminars. Lot’s of new information and reminders of the other things I’ve forgotten. Clarified some techniques I’m using.

Yes- the workshop was fantastic. I learned a lot of new exercises to help keep my dogs motivated, encourage drive and perfect some exercises. I especially liked the left and right turn work and using double lead for backs and front to “steer” the dog. Thanks!

Thank you for teaching this seminar. Although my goal is not to show in obedience, I found the foundation training and proofing to be very beneficial. I feel like I have many more skills to help improve our training sessions and freestyle performances.

Thanks again!

There were more techniques that I could add to my "bag of tricks." Having two very different dogs, it was a big help for both. Your presentation was very well done and very understandable to me. You both were very open and fun. We had good floor work and help with individual problems. It was a great workshop.

Thanks so much!

Learned a lot of new games to keep my dogs interested. Found some major holes in my training, I.E. Attention work. The workshop was Excellent. I liked the "fun" aspect rather than seeing major corrections for mistakes.

Hi Debby and Judy,

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful seminar you put on at the Toledo KC. My friend Rita and I thought you both were terrific, with loads of good information for both of us.

It is so nice to have instructors that believe dog obedience can be fun and enjoyable for both the dogs and the handlers.

I wish I lived near your training facility so I could take some much needed lessons !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ky is a little ways away!

Thanks again and good luck with your wonderful dogs.

Hi Debby and Judy;

I participated at your Seminar at the DPCA National, and I wanted to let you know how Gemma and I have been doing. Gemma was the last dog you worked with, the one who had a problem going out over the jumps in Utility. Basically you said she didn't understand the excercise, and that I needed to start over, doing many go-outs and few jumps. Well, I took your message home to Chicago and that's what we did. Using your pockets, I set up 2 ring gates in many different areas and have been doing go-outs, go-outs and more go-outs.

We showed twice in Open/Utility at the end of October. She qualified in Utility both days (but her go-outs were not straight). In Open B on Saturday she placed 3rd with a 198.

Nov 5/6 - Saturday - only showed in Open B- 198
Sunday - Utility B- 195.5 (beautiful go-outs)
Open B- 197.5
Nov 13 - Open B -196 - 2nd Place
Nov 14/15 Saturday - Open B- 197
Utility B- 196.5 (beautiful go-outs)
Dec 3 - Only showed in Open B - 198 - 4th Place
Dec 4 - Open B - 196 - 4th Place
Utility B - 196 - 1st Place - High Combined.

So Gemma has qualified in Utility in her last 5 shows, and she now has 5 UDX legs. Gemma's confidence in Utility seems to grow with each show, and I have to say she loves go outs. I continually use the pockets, and am using them with my younger dogs. I know Gemma is a once in a lifetime dog - she will do anything for me and I treasure every day I have with her. So thank you for your help, I think your insight has helped me to be a better trainer and to make training and competition more fun for the dogs.

Sincerely,
Mary Dellorto
