***** Reviews from Workshop Participants
Hi Debby and Judy,
Hi Debby and Judy,
“As always, I am reminded of valuable tools and techniques and added some new ideas to my repertoire. This seminar is tremendously motivating for the trainer as well as the dog.
Would like to see a 3 day camp format where the first day is basics and still have 2 days to work on upper levels. Would also like to see problem solving seminar where most of
the work is with dogs attending."
“Wow - what a motivation for handler and dogs. You make obedience FUN. The games are never ending: but most of all the Foundation
for so many skills. Your presentation was great. Hope to see a great improvement in my dogs and me."
“Your enthusiasm for your dogs and training has motivated me to go home and try to do a better job for my dogs.
Thank you for renewing my interest in my training. I learned many new, fun concepts and I could see improvement in my dog's attitude during the seminar exercises."
“Debby and Judy are so creative and imaginative with their training tips and games for creating drive and proofing - that information is invaluable :>) Thank you!
"
“The seminar exceeded my expectations. A lot of helpful problem solving ideas were offered.
I probably would have enjoyed it even more actually working with my dog. (audit spot only)
I have a soft breed (Vizslas) and found your methods very useful for my training needs.
Thanks for the experiance and knowledge. It would only have be better if you added a day."
“I loved the seminar! The variety of exercises and technical knowledge which was shared was amazing.
The style of presentation was wonderful. Than you for sharing you techniques and experiences."
“One of my puppy homes told me about this wonderful training center and two dynamic trainers, so when they came to town two years ago I attended their seminar. Just Super!
This year, we invited Debby and Judy to DKC. I can't say enough about what an entertaining, enthusiastic, and informative seminar these two ladies present!! They truly can
think out of the box and provide "fixes" to a multitude of training issues."
“You are my favorite obedience speakers. I only wish you were closer. You will be seeing me at your seminars again!"
“Excellent seminar! A lot of very useful information presented in a relaxed way.
Loved the hands-on to help reinforce what was presented by Debby and Judy.Would do another
seminar in a heartbeat!
“An excellent seminar! I expect to learn a couple of things at an average class - this
seminar exceeded that expectaction by far. Not only did it challenge myself and my dog,
it also helped me fill my toolbox for future training. I came away with a much better
idea of how to go about training my Pyrenes."
“... Both Debby and Judy made the weekend a
motivating experiance. My only regret is that I don't live closer..."
“Hi, Debby, Hi, Judy !
Hi Debby and Judy,
“Debby and Judy give an awsome workshop..They met all my expectations. I would tell anyone who has a change to go to one of their workshops to go...The only thing to make it better would be if it was longer...If I ever move to texas I know where I would be training with my dogs. please feel free to use my comments your guys are awsome please come back to NY soon
Cathy and Duke"
“I've been in obedience for a long time but always look forward to attending these seminars to "update" myself. I figure I'll come out with a few new things, however, I came home with tons of new stuff from you guys. It's very exciting for someone who is always looking for new training ideas to pass along to my students. I get rejuvenated from "input". Thank you very much.
“I've already seen a big jump in Stroller's drive. We've been training a similar way but now I use the get-it
games everywhere. The cookie pocket concept is great. When I introduced it to Stroller his eyes got really big!
I've been using it as an anchor when training the signals. The stand method is working wonderfully. He kicks
back so hard he almost stacks himself."
“I can't remember how many workshops that I have been to, (5? or 6?) but this has been the best one so far..."
“The workshop not only met my expectations but far exceded them. So many things became clear and I began to understand the "process" of my dog learning different skills..."
“Wish I had known more of this information before I went into the ring the first time. Excellent information for
ALL dogs - pets, as well as performance dogs. Details were terrific..."
“EXCELLENT it was really great- I now need to back up and do some retraining and I was prepared for that - there's just so many things I should have done long ago and didn't know.
I was so impressed with the knowledge and experience of Debby and Judy. Teaching techniques were excellent and the hundreds of little hints given throughout the weekend were sooooo helpful""
“Loved the workshop. We learned many new things that will be put into my everyday life. I think this is a very helpful workshop no matter what level of training you have or your dog has. Thank you. Loved all the games!"
“I feel very motivated to go home and train. I feel I have a better outlook at training. I know now I need a training plan to train and with that my training sessions will go much smoother. Watch-out! Here we come!!! One of the best seminars I’ve been to."
This seminar met my expectations and then some! I learned new things (and wrote them all down) my favorites were the “with me” – ( I have been looking for a command for this) and the whole “balance” thing. I can’t wait to get home and work on the food/toy balance. Your techniques are great – well presented and easily executed, and they make sense. Thanks for sharing your experience.
The seminar reinforced my beliefs that training obedience can and should be fun for both the dog and the trainer. I did learn some new techniques. The entire seminar was very interesting and well worth the money.
Great seminar. Lots of ways to motivate my dog. Hope I can remember to implement them. Good ideas for foundation work. You were enthusiastic and kept us all awake.
Met expectations and more. I have not worked with the dog so much in other seminars. Lot’s of new information and reminders of the other things I’ve forgotten. Clarified some techniques I’m using.
Yes- the workshop was fantastic. I learned a lot of new exercises to help keep my dogs motivated, encourage drive and perfect some exercises. I especially liked the left and right turn work and using double lead for backs and front to “steer” the dog. Thanks! “Awesome workshop! It re-energized me about obedience. The two of you make a fabulous teaching team. Thanks for all of your help!” “The workshop did not meet my expectations; it far exceeded them! “I learned too many new concepts to count! If more people were exposed to obedience training like this, obedience would grow by leaps and bounds. Thanks, I really enjoyed it! “The seminar more than met my expectations. I have more information than I’ll be able to process for months. My head is still spinning!” “I have never been to a workshop where so much information was given and shared. Excellent instruction and fun! Thank you for teaching this seminar. Although my goal is not to show in obedience, I found the foundation training and proofing to be very beneficial. I feel like I have many more skills to help improve our training sessions and freestyle performances. There were more techniques that I could add to my "bag of tricks." Having two very different dogs, it was a big help for both. Your presentation was very well done and very understandable to me. You both were very open and fun. We had good floor work and help with individual problems. It was a great workshop. Learned a lot of new games to keep my dogs interested. Found some major holes in my training, I.E. Attention work. The workshop was Excellent. I liked the "fun" aspect rather than seeing major corrections for mistakes. Hi Debby and Judy, Hi Debby and Judy; |
