"Steed"

My eight-year-old sheltie is now OTCH Winddance Black Avenger, UDX4, AX, AXJ. The OTCH was finished on July 22, 2007 at the Reliant Center Galveston Dog Show. Steed and I (Betty Barnes) won first place in Utility B with a score of 198 and got 20 points, even more than the 9 points we needed. It was especially gratifying because we won in a class of 22, which included some nationally known obedience dogs and handlers.

The OTCH journey took 3 years, beginning in July, 2004, especially since we rarely travel to a show outside of Harris County. We could never have achieved this goal without the excellent training and help given by Debby Quiqley and Judy Ramsey. Debby, especially, gave me extra help when I needed it most.
