"Apollo"

When we brought this fuzzy headed 7 week old puppy home from Connecticut, little did we realize what was in store!! Brio, his sire, has been such a marvelous dog we just didn't see how "Apollo" could fill those big paws. But fill them he did!! Six years ago Brio became the first Golden ever to attain the OTCh, TDX and MH. Apollo is the second and Apollo went a bit further by adding the Agility Excellent title to his credentials.

Apollo has a zest for life that makes him a joy to train. He has a special bark to let me know that he wants to train NOW!! It makes no difference if it is obedience, field, tracking or agility for they are all fun games.

Apollo began his obedience career in Novice with 3 first places, HIT and 7th place in the Pupperoni Classic in Houston. He completed his OTCh in 10 shows with multiple HIT's, HC's, 3 Utility first places and 2 Open firsts.

While training and showing in obedience, we also ran agility and hunt tests. This year he earned his AX, MH and OTCh. Since he is too young to retire we will continue playing in all areas. Who knows, he may add a few more credits to his name!!
